DONATIONS

Feel like making a lasting impact that's fully tax deductible?

For over 25 years Magnetic Island Nature Care has been buying island bushland for nature conservation. Environmentally significant parcels of land have been acquired and maintained to support local native biodiversity.
'Not every cause I've supported has succeeded. But when I donated to MINCA I knew it was for something permanent. It's land that we can see being maintained and regenerated. You can't help but think, "Well, we really did that. And it's wonderful!'

MINCA celebrates the acquisition of Claude's Block with a special donor's event

The 'Welcome to Claude's Block' on October 15, 2022 was a huge day, with over 100 attending. Guided tours of the block by MINCA Committee members Gethin Morgan, Peter Hansen, Charlie McColl & George Hirst, a bird talk by Birds Australia expert, Christine Corbett, reminiscences of the area in the 1970s, a cello recital by Evan Hodgson, piano by Clare Whitcombe and, later, jazz band, Random Sass. All capped off with drinks, pizza and paella.
