Port of Townsville Sea Dumping of Dredge Spoil - Magnetic Island Impact
Port of Townsville Ltd [PoTL] is applying for a 10 year extension of its existing Dredge Material Placement Area [DMPA]. MINCA has serious concerns about the impact on Magnetic Island when the existing DMPA is used.
The due date for community consultation on the application closed on Tuesday 25 August. However, it is still possible to email your views and concerns to the Federal assessors of this proposal at [email protected], ideally with the heading of "Port of Townsville 10 year permit application".
