There is no other island in the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area like Magnetic Island.

Today we humans are sharing 'Maggie" in ever greater numbers, so it is important that we all treat this special place with extra care and respect, thereby ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy and be captured by the wonders of it.

You too can help maintain the Island’s great beauty and play a special role in keeping our native animals and plants safe.

Our Visiting Magnetic Island leaflet provides some suggestions to help you enjoy your visit, secure in the knowledge that you are helping to care for Magnetic Island.
