BECOME A MEMBER

JOIN THE TEAM & BECOME A MEMBER OF MINCA!

MINCA members are the lifeblood of our organisation!
While members have the opportunity to ‘get down and dirty’ at the regular weeding and regeneration activities, there are many other ways for members to be actively involved in the important and varied work of MINCA.

We also need people who are willing to help with grant applications, development of submissions to government, promotion, event management, identifying opportunities and administration.

SOME OF MINCA'S 100+ MEMBERS

IT'S NOT ALL HARD WORK

It's not all hard work with MINCA. Right, MINCA member Anne Cole (3rd from right) challenges local kids to a slow bicycle race – with the last person across the line without having put a foot down being declared the winner.

The race was part of a field day held by MINCA to launch its 2010 Short Film Competition, Carbon Cuts, and its Low Carbon Diet Inter-Bay Challenge, in which teams from various bays on Magnetic Island competed to see by how much they could reduce their electricity use.
